ICOMTA’2027 follows a two-phase submission and evaluation process. Authors can participate by presenting their research at the conference without publication or, if interested and selected, proceed to a second stage involving full-paper submission and further peer review.
Phase 1. Submit Your Abstract
To participate in ICOMTA 2027, complete the official Google Form and submit an abstract of no more than 300 words: https://forms.gle/fmyQjcZ7JP22dwPh7
Your abstract should clearly outline:
- The research topic and main objectives.
- The methodological approach.
- The main findings or expected results.
- The originality and scientific contribution of the research.
All proposals will undergo an initial double-blind peer review process conducted by members of the ICOMTA Scientific Committee. Submissions will be assessed according to their scientific quality, originality, thematic relevance, and scientific contribution.
Following the evaluation, each proposal will receive one of three decisions:
- Invitation to submit a full paper: The proposal is shortlisted for further development and peer review, with a view to potential publication.
- Acceptance for conference presentation only: The proposal is accepted for presentation at ICOMTA 2027, without publication.
- Rejection: The proposal is not accepted.
Authors will be notified of the evaluation results at the email addresses provided in the submission form within a maximum of 30 days from the submission date.
Important information:
- Only an abstract is required for initial participation.
- A full paper is not mandatory to present at ICOMTA’2027.
- Each author may submit a maximum of two proposals per participation category.
- Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format (in person or online) and whether they are interested in potential publication opportunities.
Phase 2. Full-Paper Submission (Optional, following Phase 1)
Following the initial evaluation, the ICOMTA Scientific Committee may invite authors of selected proposals to prepare and submit an extended version of their research for further consideration.
Only shortlisted proposals will be eligible to proceed to this stage.
Invited authors will receive detailed information regarding manuscript preparation guidelines, available publication opportunities, submission procedures, deadlines, and applicable peer-review requirements.
All full manuscripts must be submitted through the EasyChair platform using a dedicated submission link, which will be provided to eligible authors once their abstracts have been accepted and their conference registration has been completed. Submitted manuscripts will undergo an additional peer-review process.
A maximum of two contributions per co-author may be considered for the same publication collection.
An invitation to submit a full paper does not guarantee acceptance for publication. All manuscripts will be subject to an additional peer-review process and must meet the scientific, editorial, and formatting requirements of the relevant publication venue.
Full-paper submission deadline: May 15, 2027 (subject to confirmation).
Notification of full-paper evaluation results: By June 24, 2027 (subject to the applicable editorial review schedule).
